What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Close Support: You will actively support the essential monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Record Maintenance: This responsibility includes preparing and meticulously maintaining various account reconciliations, journal entries, and all corresponding supporting schedules.
• Transactional Accounting: You will provide crucial assistance with daily operational accounting tasks, specifically managing accounts payable, monitoring cash activity, and processing employee expense reporting.
• Performance Analysis: A key part of this role involves helping to analyze complex financial data, investigating variances from expected results, and clearly understanding the underlying causes.
• Strategic Projects & Improvement: You will partner with various internal teams on ad hoc reporting requests, contribute to significant process improvements, and participate in special projects across the business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, providing a foundational understanding of core financial principles.
• Experience: This role requires a minimum of one year of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance, or a relevant internship, demonstrating practical exposure to financial operations.
• Core Skills: Essential skills include solid proficiency in Excel, strong attention to detail, a highly organized approach, proactive problem-solving, and comfort working extensively with numbers and financial data.
