The Tone:
This is a full-time, salaried position at Catalent, located onsite in Winchester, KY. Catalent is a global leader in drug development and delivery, responsible for advancing over 7,000 life-saving and life-enhancing products and producing more than 70 billion doses annually. The Winchester, KY location is a flagship US manufacturing site for large-scale oral dose forms. This role is critical as it owns end-to-end finance support, ensuring accurate financial results, clear variance explanations, and timely corporate deliverables for the local operation.

• Mission: Owns end-to-end finance support, including invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting, to ensure accurate financial results, clear variance explanations, and timely corporate deliverables while maintaining SOX compliance.
• Tech Stack: JD Edwards 9.1 (ERP), Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Process invoices from customer service, validating purchase order details and resolving exceptions.
• Reporting & Payroll: Prepare daily sales updates, consolidate headcount reporting for actuals and forecast, and balance and process payroll entries including related accruals.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Develop A/R flash reporting and provide account-level commentary for leadership review, while providing local support for Accounts Receivable shared services.
• Reconciliation & Analysis: Reconcile balance sheet accounts without subledger support, investigating variances, understanding end-to-end account flows, and resolving issues.
• SOX Compliance: Ensure SOX accuracy and compliance, coordinate changes as required, and assist with audits and testing of related processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum one year of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience with accounts payable.
• Skills: Knowledge of various computer software programs including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Experience with JD Edwards ERP.
