This role is crucial for supporting revenue calculations, managing technology-driven billing, preparing accurate invoices, and gaining hands-on experience across various accounting functions, contributing to the company’s vision and professional development.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To accurately manage revenue, billing, and invoices, while contributing to various accounting functions and improving processes.
• Tech Stack: Excel, automation tools, AI technologies, Concur.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing: Participate in monthly client invoicing by maintaining complex revenue spreadsheets and ensuring proper accounting of employee billable hours.
• Payables & Receivables: Process accounts payable, maintain vendor accounts, ensure prompt collection of receivables, and process customer payments.
• Record Keeping: Reconcile bank and credit card statements, maintain an orderly accounting filing system, and manage company fixed asset schedules, including depreciation and disposals.
• Expense Management: Administer the company’s Concur expense software and audit employee expense reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes that scale with the organization’s growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Available to work part-time (10-20 hours per week) and transition to a full-time schedule upon graduation, with an anticipated graduation date no later than May 2027.
• Skills: Strong technical and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and an understanding of automation tools and emerging AI technologies.
• Bonus: A cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement, analytical problem-solving, and ownership.
