What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to GAAP and other relevant regulations.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Month-End/Year-End: Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by ensuring necessary documentation is available.
• Financial Analysis: Assist with financial analysis, identifying trends, and participating in preparing ad-hoc financial reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Entry-level understanding of various accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: Works on assignments of moderate technical and logistical complexity; develops and maintains knowledge of company policies, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
• Skills: Demonstrates foundational analytical and problem-solving skills; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across departments.
