Associate Accountant – Crude Oil | Energy Transfer

• Mission: To ensure financial operational reporting accuracy through crude volume actualization, inventory reconciliations, transportation expense payments, and analytical reporting.
• Tech Stack: RightAngle, SAP, Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monthly Close: Participate in the monthly close process, actualizing crude oil volumes for pipeline/terminal locations and reconciling volumes to supporting statements.
• Payment Processing: Process and submit transportation payments related to pipeline and terminal activities.
• Customer Settlements: Settle monthly receivables and payables with external customers and monitor vendor and customer balances in SAP.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Scheduling, Trading, other crude accounting teams, and Pipeline groups to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency through automation and system enhancements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, general knowledge of Marketing Transactions, experience with RightAngle and SAP, highly detailed oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task.
