What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage operational accounting processes to support the company’s financial health and daily operations.
• Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements and comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct and assist with internal and external auditing procedures to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
• Operate and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for efficient financial data management and transaction processing.
• Leverage computer proficiency, including advanced Microsoft Office skills, for various accounting tasks and data analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is a mandatory requirement. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of professional experience specifically in operational accounting is essential. This includes practical experience with the preparation of financial statements and various financial reports. Demonstrated experience in auditing processes and familiarity with utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are also required.
• Skills: Proficiency in managing and preparing detailed financial statements and reports. Strong capabilities in conducting and assisting with auditing procedures. Expertise in navigating and utilizing ERP systems for financial tasks. Advanced computer skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Windows, Outlook, and Excel, are mandatory.
• Bonus: Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates who may need to move closer to the Harrisonburg, VA area.
