Corporate Accountant – Shared Services | ECU Health

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Maintains a comprehensive financial reporting system and produces monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for distribution to management, executive staff, committees, and boards.
• Fixed Asset & Lease Accounting: Performs fixed asset accounting for ECU Health entities, including GASB 87 lease and GASB 96 software accounting.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Manages the complete accounting cycle for other accounts receivable and approves invoices in conjunction with corporate policies.
• General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconciles general ledger accounts for ECU Health entities and maintains contract files.
• Audit & Survey Support: Compiles information for governmental and benchmarking surveys, annual audits, and tax preparation packages.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Four year college degree or higher in Accounting, Business or Finance. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: 1 year of experience working in an accounting office as a staff accountant in business or a similar industry.
• Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Excel and Word.
