What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Review: Review and reconcile monthly facility Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) reports.
• Reporting & Statements: Generate related management reports and the full monthly Financial Statements for assigned facilities.
• Facility Support: Provide overall accounting support to assigned facilities, encompassing training, compliance monitoring, and day-to-day assistance.
• Process Management: Oversee specific accounting processes, including managing the Bad Debt approval process, performing monthly cash receipts reconciliation, and Lockbox Management.
• Tax & Cost Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly Provider Tax Payments and generate necessary Cost Reports as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or a related financial field, suitable for an early-level accounting professional.
• Experience: One year of prior experience in a Staff Accounting role.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), possesses good customer service skills, and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively while also being self-directed and motivated.
