Account Onboarding Specialist Intern | Gainwell Technologies
The Tone:
This is a paid summer internship at Gainwell Technologies, with a hybrid opportunity in Dallas, TX or El Paso, TX. Gainwell Technologies is dedicated to moving healthcare forward by learning from innovators and mentors. This role focuses on ensuring new talent, including Shared Services staff, SOW contractors, and external hires, are integrated smoothly and quickly across various accounts. The intern will support account teams in setting up new personnel correctly, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to healthcare initiatives from day one.
The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement tailored onboarding processes for account teams specific to each program or client.
• Verify that new staff receive appropriate system, tool, and environment access.
• Provide account-specific orientation materials and ensure new personnel understand their roles and expectations.
• Track onboarding progress and identify any delays or process gaps that arise.
• Maintain clear communication with new personnel and key stakeholders during their ramp-up period.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a degree in Business, HR, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Comfort working in a matrixed organization.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal communication, customer service mindset, ability to quickly learn diverse account structures and requirements, proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
