2027 Accelerated Development Program – Supply Chain | Trane Technologies
The Tone:
This is a full-time Accelerated Development Program at Trane Technologies, located on-site at various manufacturing plants across the United States. Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation through businesses like Trane® and Thermo King. This program is designed to develop recent college graduates into future supply chain leaders, directly contributing to the company’s mission of sustainability and operational excellence. • Type: Full-time
• Location: On-site at various manufacturing plants in the United States, involving two physical moves.
• Pay: $72,500.00 yearly
• Mission: Build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation in supply chain operations to accelerate personal and professional development within Trane Technologies.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Foundation: Build a strong foundation in lean production, process improvement, planning and execution, problem-solving, quality engineering, ergonomics & safety, and materials within a manufacturing environment.
• Materials Management Rotation: Focus on optimizing production planning, inventory, and logistics utilizing planning systems.
• Procurement Program Management Rotation: Manage sourcing execution, coordinate suppliers, and provide cross-functional project support within procurement programs.
• Logistics Operations Rotation: Improve service, cost, and delivery performance through transportation management, distribution flow analysis, and network support.
• Corporate Procurement Strategy Rotation: Develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and drive cost management for value creation across key spend areas.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree. Entry-Level. Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline, Business with a Supply Chain emphasis, or Supply Chain, completed prior to the program start date, with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Minimum of one degree-related internship or six months of related work experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum two examples such as school club officer or sports team captain), proficient problem-solving and strategic decision-making, effective collaboration, adaptability to new or changing business circumstances, and a proactive approach to continuous learning. Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future, and remain geographically flexible both during and after program completion.
