What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Input data accurately for various computer applications.
• Workpaper Preparation: Prepare accounting workpapers for client engagements.
• Trial Balance Drafting: Draft trial balances as part of financial reporting processes.
• Confirmation Assistance: Assist in the preparation of confirmations for client accounts.
• Project Execution: Execute other assignments and special projects as directed by the A&A department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level individuals currently pursuing higher education, who are well-rounded, eager to bring creative solutions to challenges, and aspire to be future leaders within the accounting profession. The internship is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.
• Experience: Active enrollment in a relevant college program. A firm commitment is required for this hybrid internship, which spans approximately June through August 2027. Interns must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week for the entire duration of the program, including at least 2 days per week onsite at the Western Pennsylvania office.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in basic data entry for computer applications, a foundational understanding of accounting principles necessary for preparing workpapers, trial balances, and confirmations, and a proactive approach to engaging with new challenges and assignments.
