360 Global Trainee Program | North America | EF

The Tone:
This is an 18-month, highly selective, rotational Global Trainee Program at EF, based primarily in Boston, MA, with opportunities for international office rotations. EF is a global association of education companies with over 50,000 employees worldwide, dedicated to fostering mutual understanding between people and cultures through transformative international educational programs. This program is designed for exceptional recent graduates and postgraduates seeking to fast-track their careers by taking on significant responsibility and gaining direct exposure to EF’s senior leadership. Trainees are expected to proactively solve complex challenges and contribute to moving the business forward, particularly by exploring how artificial intelligence can drive innovation, enhance human potential, and improve customer experiences within EF’s global mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Own and drive impactful projects from the very first day, contributing directly to EF’s strategic objectives and operational improvements.
• Global Rotations: Begin your program in EF’s North American Headquarters in Boston, then rotate through 1–2 additional international offices to gain diverse operational experiences and insights across different markets.
• Core Business Immersion: Acquire first-hand, front-line experience across essential business functions, including sales, business development, customer experience, and market development, actively engaging with EF’s customer base in meaningful ways.
• Professional Development & Networking: Participate in exclusive Global Trainee Summits specifically designed for professional growth, to build extensive networks, and to foster collaboration with fellow Global Trainees and EF executives.
• Company Insight: Build deep and comprehensive insight into the world’s largest privately-held international education company, understanding its diverse products, its people-centric culture, and its overarching global mission to open the world through education.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required for recent graduates, with a Master’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant professional work experience considered a strong advantage for this early career role.
• Experience: Proven international work or study experience, demonstrating global curiosity and openness to diverse cultures, coupled with legal work authorization in the US without requiring company sponsorship.
• Skills: A strong, forward-thinking interest in artificial intelligence and its practical business applications, particularly in improving efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, leadership potential, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and adaptability in rapidly changing, multicultural settings.
• Bonus: Fluency in a language other than English is highly preferred, and candidates with a technical background are encouraged to share their GitHub link as part of their application process.
