This is a summer internship at Wells Fargo, located in Charlotte, NC and St. Louis, MO. Wells Fargo is one of the United States’ leading providers of financial and investment services, offering a full range of personalized wealth management, investment, and retirement products. This internship program is designed to attract, develop, and retain exceptional rising-senior students, building talent and strengthening the workforce within Wealth & Investment Management by providing hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.

• Mission: To help clients pursue their financial goals with confidence by building relationships and developing individualized plans, while building future talent for Wells Fargo’s Wealth & Investment Management division.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Interact with leaders and team members across all organizational levels, including senior management and vendors.
• Serve: Provide customer service to clients and internal employees as needed and appropriate.
• Improve: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify and recommend enhancements.
• Resolve: Address issues, questions, and requests independently to ensure timely closure.
• Communicate: Articulate business needs and propose solutions clearly through verbal and written communication to customers and management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2027-June 2028.
• Experience: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Skills: Critical thinking and basic data analysis to evaluate financial, economic, or investment decisions; understanding of business and financial concepts; effective verbal and written communication.
• Bonus: Strong learning mindset, curiosity, and adaptability; proven initiative to deliver high-quality work and understanding of business impact; active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or student organizations.
