This is an advertisement for a 2026 Summer Associate position.

Position Title: 2026 Summer Associate
Practice Group: Corporate Practice Group
Location: Rochester office
Work Arrangement: Hybrid position, with an expectation of four days in-office during the 2026 summer program.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide legal research support to attorneys.
• Conduct legal writing tasks.
• Offer other substantive support on challenging and exciting projects.
Program Benefits & Support:
• Summer associates will receive substantive feedback on their assignments.
Mentoring will be provided.
• Various training programs will be offered throughout the duration of the summer program.
Anticipated Salary:
• The anticipated salary for this position in Rochester is $2,692.00 per week. This is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate at the time of posting, in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws.
Application Review Process:
• Applications for the Summer Program will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Qualifications (Required):
• Candidates must be rising second-year law students.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in corporate work is essential.
• Possession of strong academic credentials, specifically a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Superb judgment and communication skills are required.
• Candidates must have excellent legal writing skills.
• A strong commitment to teamwork and excellent client service is expected.
