2026 SPORTFIVE General Summer Internship Program (New York) – Experiential & Production, Intern | SPORTFIVE
The Tone:
This is an internship at SPORTFIVE, located in New York City. The company connects brands, rightsholders, media platforms, and fans by leveraging the emotional power of sports through commercialization and full-service solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the sports marketing industry, designed to train and develop future leaders. The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience by assisting with daily department functions and contributing to a group project.
The TL;DR

• Mission: To support the creation of exciting and engaging activations and events for a diverse range of clients within the sports marketing industry.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Support: Assist all areas of the Experiential & Productions department, including creative development, live events, and various experiences.
• Document Creation: Create presentations, tracking documents, and other necessary work products for internal teams and projects.
• Office Administration: Handle daily office duties, which includes the sourcing of event materials for upcoming activations.
• Event Assistance: Provide on-site support for events and activations, including up to five (5) in the Tri-State area, which may require weeknight and weekend availability.
• Inventory Management: Assist with the organization and inventory of materials stored in the department’s warehouse.
• Meeting Coordination: Schedule and attend meetings, then provide clear call recaps and outline next steps for ongoing projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (2 or 4-year program), OR graduated from an accredited institution no earlier than July 2024. All fields of study are welcome, with a keen interest in Experiential Marketing.
• Experience: Desire to gain first-hand, practical experience in sports marketing and event production.
• Skills: Ability to lift 20 lbs; organizational skills for tracking documents, inventory, and meeting management; strong communication skills for providing call recaps; flexibility to work weeknights and weekends for events.
• Bonus: Submission of a short (1-2 page) writing sample from any college course is welcome.
