Job Description:

The 2026 Gaylor Electric Summer Internship Program is an 8-to-10-week paid opportunity specifically designed for high school students (current, recent graduates, or individuals seeking career growth).

Program Highlights:
Duration & Compensation: 8-to-10-week paid internship.
Placement: Students are placed across national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites in various departments.
Career Exploration: Offers an opportunity for construction career exploration and the honing of technical skills.
Professional Development: The program includes access to resume development, interview prep, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots. Interns will intensely curate their professional resumes, interview habits, networking skills, and professionalism approaches.
Culmination: The experience culminates with an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment.
Hands-on Experience: Provides on-the-job experience and training, allowing interns to expand knowledge outside the classroom and apply concepts to real-world situations.
Networking: Interns can make key contacts for future networking and receive feedback from professionals.
Potential Future Employment: Offers potential full-time employment opportunities in any of Gaylor Electric’s locations.
