Job Description: 2025 Summer Internships

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour

Position Purpose: Veolia North America offers 2025 summer internships in New Jersey, providing hands-on experience in various career functions. Opportunities exist in:

Engineering
Watershed Maintenance
Laboratory
Customer Service Operations
Data Analytics
Communications
GIS

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicate issues and roadblocks concerning areas of responsibility.
• Assist with research or special projects across various areas to support business initiatives and objectives.
• Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produce findings and conclusions from analyses; make oral and written recommendations to management.
• Perform field-related duties as assigned.
• Internships focus on learning fundamental business processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience/Background: High School Diploma/GED is required. Must be working towards a four-year degree (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate) in a related major (e.g., a junior in electrical engineering for an electrical engineering internship).
Minimum GPA: 3.0 Cumulative GPA preferred.
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication (written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation) skills and ability to build collaborative relationships are essential.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
