Job Description: 2025 Summer Internships
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
Position Purpose: Veolia North America is offering summer internships in New Jersey for 2025. Interns will gain practical experience in at least one career function. Opportunities are available in:
• Engineering
• Watershed Maintenance
• Laboratory
• Customer Service Operations
• Data Analytics
• Communications
• GIS
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Execute tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicate issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• Assist in research or special projects across various areas to support business initiatives and objectives.
• Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produce findings and draw conclusions from analyses; make oral and written recommendations to management.
• Perform field-related duties as assigned.
• Internships focus on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Education/Experience/Background: High School Diploma/GED is required. Applicants must be working towards a four-year degree (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate) in a related major (e.g., an electrical engineering major for an electrical engineering internship).
• Minimum GPA: A 3.0 Cumulative GPA is preferred.
• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication (written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation) skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships are essential.
• Required Certification/Licenses/Training: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
