Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship – Personal Systems

This is a 12-week paid summer internship program for students pursuing a 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or 1st year of a Master’s/MBA program (typically in a non-technical field). The internship aims to provide a balance of networking, executive speaker events, community involvement, challenging projects, and social activities. Interns will apply classroom learning to real-world challenges within HP’s Personal Systems division.

Personal Systems Division Overview:

The Personal Systems division focuses on three main pillars:

1. Advancing leadership in Computing: Developing and producing laptops, desktops, business PCs, gaming PCs, Chromebooks, education-specific PCs, creator-specific PCs, and workstations.

2. Creating leadership in Peripherals: Designing and manufacturing monitors, docks, webcams, keyboards, and mice. This includes leveraging acquisitions like HyperX (high-quality gaming gear) and Poly (4K video conferencing solutions).

3. Expanding Digital Services: Providing services to support the increasing hybrid workforce and the growing reliance on digital platforms. This includes addressing the challenges of remote work (onboarding, productivity, remote computing) through acquisitions like Teradici. The overall goal is to deliver full ecosystem experiences through PCs, peripherals, and services, with a focus on leading in hybrid work and gaming.

Required Education and Experience:

• Completion of the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or the 1st year of a Master’s/MBA program.
• Full-time enrollment at an accredited university.
• Must be authorized to work in the US in 2025 and not require future sponsorship.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Project experience showcasing strong analytical, modeling, and research skills.
• Demonstrated coursework in business, economics, finance, or marketing.
• Strong executive-level presentation skills (storyboarding, development, and delivery).
• Proven ability to deliver results in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and unstructured work environments.
• Teamwork skills and ability to guide executives and peers through logical reasoning and relationship building.
• Strong public speaking and workshop/conversation facilitation skills.
• Ability to shape and influence others’ ideas and actions.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

The internship offers a pay range of $23 to $32 per hour (US candidates only), with variations based on location, skills, and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is provided for interns working at least 20 hours per week.
