Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship (Finance)

PulteGroup offers a 12-week summer internship program (May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025) providing hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. The internship program is designed to give interns a holistic understanding of the business through rotational shadowing and daily work contributions on meaningful projects within their designated function (in this case, Finance).

Finance Internship Specifics:

Interns in the Finance department will gain crucial reporting literacy essential to the success of the homebuilding business. This includes:

Land Acquisition Financial Analysis: Learning about financial analytics and advising on business decisions and opportunities related to land acquisition.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serving as a “financial bridge” connecting various departments (e.g., sales and field construction) to ensure fiscal success.

General Internship Responsibilities:

• Rotational shadowing across various functions and departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the homebuilding process.
• Working with experienced professionals on significant projects within the assigned function (Finance).
• Participation in centralized training and development opportunities.
• A capstone presentation showcasing internship experiences and ideas to local Division leadership.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred) or graduated in the semester preceding the internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 preferred.
Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and adaptability.
A curious and coachable attitude, along with being personable, patient, action-oriented, and accountable.
A strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, and/or construction industry.
• Participation in extracurricular activities (e.g., student organizations, leadership roles) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

$20/hour (pay may vary by position and location).
• Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.

Schedule and Location:

• 40 hours per week, with the schedule dependent on the internship position.
• Primarily in-person at one of PulteGroup’s 29 Division Offices or in development communities. A list of available locations is provided in the original text.
