Job Description:
This is a full-time Summer 2025 internship opportunity in the Sales/Brokerage area at CBRE’s Minneapolis, MN office. The internship is designed to provide current college students (juniors, seniors, or graduate students graduating in 2026) with a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business. As an intern, you will work alongside professionals and gain valuable skills to build a foundation for a commercial real estate sales career.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting company, property, and industry-specific research.
• Leading and updating prospect information in an internal tracking database.
• Assisting in the development and preparation of marketing and presentation materials.
• Tracking local and regional economic activity, employment statistics, company activity, industry trends, and demographics affecting the local real estate market.
• Contributing to projects that support business development.
• Providing support with current deals, including market surveys, proposal reviews and summaries, lease reviews, and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
• Current college junior, senior, or graduate level student, graduating in 2026.
• Strong academic background.
• Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry.
• Experience with MS Office, with intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to network and interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Argus, Salesforce, and Tableau is a plus.
Compensation:
The minimum salary for the Intern position is $14.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $15.00 per hour.
