Job Description:
Global Atlantic offers a 2025 internship program with various opportunities across several departments:
• Investments: A generalist rotational program involves rotating through two desks: Credit, Hedging/Directives, Asset Allocation, or Structuring and Asset Solutions. A Quantitative Investments Internship option focuses on the Asset Liability Management and Analytics team. The Reinsurance Deal Strategy Team offers opportunities for investment analysis on potential deals.
• Corporate Development: Interns work with a small strategy team, conducting analysis on potential business opportunities, fundraising, capital deployment, and other strategic initiatives.
• Finance/Accounting: Rotation through two corporate accounting/finance functions, including investment accounting, reinsurance accounting, tax, controller, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and more.
• Technology: Various roles in coding, data science, programming, and analytics.
• Risk: Opportunities to learn about enterprise risk, operational risk, insurance risk, actuarial risk, and more.
• Actuarial: Roles in modeling, valuation, product, institutional, risk, and other areas.
• Sales: Learn about wholesaling financial products.
• Operations: Gaining an understanding of insurance company processes through customer service, new business, process improvement, licensing, contracting, and other areas.
Additional opportunities may be added throughout the year. Office locations include Hartford, Boston, New York, Des Moines, Wayne, PA, and Bermuda.
Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in an accredited university or college.
• Anticipated graduation in December 2025 or May 2026.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher (specific requirements may vary by role).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach.
• Growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
Total Rewards:
Global Atlantic offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a 401k match with immediate vesting (except Bermuda), competitive compensation, and a stipend. The 10-week internship includes participation in diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, National Intern Day celebrations, weekly business overviews, leadership fireside chats, and social events. Employees work 4-5 days a week in the Hudson Yards, NY office, and 3-4 days a week in other locations.
