About the Job: Equipment Operator at AHT
This full-time 1st Shift Equipment Operator position at AHT offers an exciting opportunity to join an industry that makes the world stronger and safer. While specialized knowledge in processes like ion nitriding, gas nitriding, carbonitriding, and induction hardening isn’t required, a willingness to learn is paramount. AHT has over 40 years of experience, contributing to critical components for aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, construction, agriculture, energy, and medical industries—including parts for the Mars Rover!
What You’ll Do:
- Provide setup, parts processing, and inspection for various heat treatment processes.
- Offer backup support to technicians, utilizing process instructions, work orders, and prints.
- Degrease, clean, and unload customer parts.
- Perform routine shop duties.
Hours & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
- Pay: Competitive wage based on experience and initiative.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of equipment operation experience and/or a two-year industrial tech degree.
- Ability to operate a fork truck and overhead crane.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Equipment operating/industrial experience preferred.
Note: AHT is willing to hire the right candidate as Heat Treat Support and train them into a Heat Treat Equipment Operator role if the above experience requirements are not fully met.
