The Gateway Region YMCA

The Gateway Region YMCA is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to fostering youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility across the Greater St. Louis community. Building on a rich legacy in the region since 1853, our organization, formed in 2015 through the merger of local YMCAs, empowers individuals and families through quality, values-based programs and services. We strive to strengthen communities by nurturing the potential of every person we serve.

Our vibrant culture is rooted in a shared commitment to community well-being and personal growth, driven by our passionate team. With 25 traditional Y branches spread across Missouri and Illinois, alongside specialized facilities like two Campus Y student leadership centers, the Community Services Y, Y Community Literacy, and the expansive YMCA Camp Lakewood and Trout Lodge in Potosi, Missouri, we offer diverse opportunities for engagement.
