Colonial Williamsburg Foundation

Established in 1926, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the world’s largest outdoor living history museum and a not-for-profit educational institution. It meticulously preserves and operates the restored 18th-century capital of Virginia, sharing the inspirational stories of our nation’s founding with the mission “that the future may learn from the past.” Annually accommodating one million visitors, the Foundation also manages a comprehensive resort experience through its Hospitality Group, featuring The Williamsburg Inn, additional hotels, and diverse dining options, alongside The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, all located in Virginia’s historic Tidewater region.
