About the Job: Marketing Intern
The Marketing Intern at Mulbah is a vital hybrid role that blends strategy and creativity, supporting the growth of partners’ brands. This position is responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media content across five different brands. It involves a mix of trend-based research, original ideation, content capturing, editing, social media scheduling, and audience engagement.
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about social media who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with prior experience in content production for personal or professional use. Mulbah is looking for a forward-thinking individual who embraces responsibility and is eager to use creativity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Research:
• Conduct weekly trend research (2-3 hours/week) on platforms like Reels, TikToks, and other short-form video formats.
• Develop monthly filming plans with at least 15 specific ideas per partner, including references, caption/audio ideas, and shot lists.
• Present a minimum of 15 new trend-based and 5 original content ideas per week, categorized by type (e.g., testimonials, transitions, humor).
• Content Creation:
• Visit partner locations biweekly to capture high-quality, branded content (videos, photos, graphics).
• Execute content following approved plans and best practices (HD quality, on-brand assets, trending audio, captions).
• Edit and prepare a minimum of 15 final pieces of content per partner per month.
• Organize and upload content to Google Drive with correct naming conventions.
• Social Media Scheduling:
• Schedule approved content using Meta Business Suite, ensuring precise alignment with the Marketing Planner (captions, visuals, CTAs, tags).
• Monitor scheduling and formatting to ensure accuracy and error-free queuing.
• Review the “Calendar” view for consistent spacing and accuracy across all accounts.
• Engagement & Collaboration:
• Post daily stories and actively engage with audiences across platforms.
• Assist the Marketing Strategist and Art Director with campaign logistics, including wardrobe coordination, on-set assistance, influencer collaborations, and data collection.
• Attend weekly huddles and team meetings to present ideas and discuss results.
• Contribute to creative brainstorms, shoots, and partner-specific campaign development.
Expected Results:
• Present at least 15 content ideas per week, plus at least 5 original content ideas per month.
• Deliver a minimum of 15 well-executed content pieces per partner monthly, aligning with each brand’s identity and voice.
• Maintain high-quality, scheduled content across all social channels to increase engagement metrics (likes, comments, saves, shares).
• Drive a 30% increase in follower count per partner every quarter.
Requirements:
• Proven experience creating content for social media, whether personally or professionally.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency in shooting and editing high-quality, short-form videos using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong visual storytelling skills demonstrated through a portfolio or work samples.
• Experience managing social media accounts or scheduling content using platforms like Meta Business Suite.
• Excellent written communication skills, especially for captions, CTAs, and maintaining brand voice.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple partners and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback from a creative team.
• Availability to visit partner locations for content capture as needed, requiring personal transportation.
• Curiosity, drive, and a passion for digital storytelling and brand building.
• Experience working with positive impact consumer brands, particularly in wellness, beauty, food, or creative industries, is preferred.
