This role is a full-stack position that requires a blend of scientific advancement and engineering excellence. You should be prepared to spend approximately half of your time on research and half on engineering.

Scientific Work / Research Responsibilities:

• Working with the team to develop new tasks and methods to distinguish humans and AI systems.
• Gathering data through internal red-teaming.
• Training models that are robust in adversarial contexts.
• This research involves an interdisciplinary mix of machine learning, cognitive science, and online experimentation.
• Opportunity to assist the team in writing scientific articles summarizing work for publication at top venues (e.g., Science, HCI, NeurIPS).

Engineering Work Responsibilities:

• Building systems to serve these models with minimal latency.
• Building intuitive interfaces for clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in web development (Javascript, Node.js) and Python is mandatory.
• The ideal candidate has experience in both research and engineering.
• Research experience is not strictly required, provided you possess a strong quantitative background and an eagerness to learn.
