Job Description

This is an Intern Role intended for current students, with internship dates from August to December.

The Program:
The program is designed to hire best-in-class, early-in-career talent (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate students) looking to power next-generation services and solutions within Oracle’s Corporate Architecture organization. The goal is to enhance overall learning, help build professional networks, and accelerate interns’ ability to create an impact within the company.

What You’ll Do (Role Details):
Oracle is seeking elite students with expertise and passion for solving challenging and unique problems. Interns will use their knowledge and creativity to design and build innovative new systems from the ground up. This involves writing code, completing programming projects, and performing testing and debugging of Oracle software. Interns will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies to tackle real-world problems in a collaborative, agile environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications (Objective Minimum Qualifications – OMQs):
To be considered for a Software Engineer Intern position in the Oracle Health – Connected Devices team, candidates must meet the following Objective Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is a precondition of employment; Oracle will not sponsor for this position.
• Must be able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Must have completed at least your junior year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2025.
• Must be proficient (able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in all the following programming languages:
• JavaScript
• C/C++
• Java
• Must have completed coursework, projects, internships, and/or research in three or more of the following areas:
• Data Structures/Algorithms
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Computer Networking
• Compilers
• Computer Architecture
• Database
• Must reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Salary/Compensation: The hiring range in the US is from $19.62 to $38.32 per hour, or $40,800 to $79,700 per annum. Salary ranges account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, locations, and Oracle’s differing products/industries. Placement within the range is based on these factors and internal peer equity.
