Job Description:
Endeavor Health Services is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their team for the Fall 2025 semester. Endeavor Health Services is a non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) committed to a holistic approach to treatment by offering a comprehensive range of services, including mental health and substance use disorder services. This in-person internship is located in West Seneca, NY and is unpaid.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting mission-driven projects by analyzing and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions. You will gain practical experience in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting, all while contributing to positive change within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Support the creation of data visualizations and dashboards to present findings.
• Collaborate with team members to develop data-driven insights for program improvement.
• Help maintain data integrity and accuracy by performing regular checks and updates.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and documenting data processes and methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data strategy.
• Support the implementation of data collection tools and software.
• Conduct research on best practices and innovations in data analysis for non-profits.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistical techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of database management and querying languages like SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Passion for social impact and an interest in the non-profit sector.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
