This is an opportunity to join Endeavor Health Services as a Data Analyst Intern.

Job Title: Data Analyst Intern
Location: In-person at the West Seneca, NY office.
Semester: This internship is offered for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.

Purpose and Impact:
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting Endeavor Health Services’ mission-driven projects. Your primary objective will be to analyze and interpret data, which will directly contribute to driving strategic decisions within the organization. This position offers a unique chance to develop practical analytical skills while actively contributing to initiatives that generate positive impact within the community.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Organization: Assist in the process of collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to ensure its readiness for analysis.
Preliminary Analysis: Conduct initial data analysis to identify significant trends and emerging patterns within the datasets.
Data Visualization: Support the creation of clear and informative data visualizations and dashboards to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
Insight Development: Collaborate closely with team members to develop data-driven insights that can be leveraged for program improvement and optimization.
Data Integrity: Help maintain the integrity and accuracy of data by performing regular checks and necessary updates.
Reporting & Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive reports and compelling presentations for various stakeholders.
Process Documentation: Assist in the development and documentation of data processes and methodologies, ensuring consistency and clarity.
Team Collaboration: Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding data strategy and future initiatives.
Tool Implementation: Support the implementation of various data collection tools and software solutions.
Research: Conduct research on best practices and innovative approaches in data analysis specifically tailored for non-profit organizations.

Requirements:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
Analytical Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of data analysis principles and statistical techniques.
Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Database Understanding: An understanding of database management concepts and querying languages, specifically SQL, is essential.
