Job Description:
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering Interns to join their Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office. This is an in-person position. The internship offers hands-on experience in civil engineering design, planning, and analysis for various projects.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize technical software programs for analysis, production, and quality control.
• Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems and assist project managers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to produce clients’ visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s standards.
• Learn software programs specific to the discipline, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in one of the following majors:
• Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
• Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
• Engineering Technology
