Job Description:
This is an internship opportunity with Touro University’s Office of the General Counsel. Interns work closely with the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsels, and other senior administrators on a variety of legal matters. The internship aims to contribute to the student’s education by engaging them in the legal department’s practice, which spans areas such as:
• Real Estate
• Construction
• Procurement
• Transactions
• Affiliations
• Litigation
• Policy Formulation and Enforcement
• Compliance
• Corporate Law
• Regulatory Matters
• Ad hoc Initiatives
The internship includes assignments with one of the legal/compliance offices located at: Touro University, New York Medical College, Touro University California or Touro University Nevada.
Responsibilities:
Interns will be exposed to a wide range of legal tasks and responsibilities within the areas mentioned above. Every effort is made to accommodate the desired practice areas of the intern.
Qualifications:
• Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited law school program.
• Must have the ability to work remotely or participate in-person at a relevant Touro location.

Compensation:
• Maximum Salary: USD $16.50/Hr.
• Minimum Salary: USD $0.00/Hr.
• This position is work-study eligible.
• Commuting reimbursement may be available.
