Job Description

Position: Web Design Intern
Department: Creative Services
Reporting to: Web Design Art Director
Time Commitment: Part Time, 15-25 hours/week. This is an ongoing internship opportunity, not limited to summer.

Overview:
This internship offers a fast-paced role within an incredible team, designed to significantly develop web design skills. The intern will primarily assist the web team with crucial tasks such as maintaining client websites, efficiently processing request tickets, and applying problem-solving skills to ongoing web projects. It is an ideal role for individuals passionate about web design and development.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
Update and maintain live client websites.
• Make revisions on new client websites that are currently in production.
Update and edit corporate email designs to prepare them for sending.
Collect statistics pertaining to website success and overall performance.
Resolve client requests efficiently through a ticketing dashboard.
Contribute creatively in meetings, actively participating in the development of new concepts and approaches.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Experience You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications):
• A strong eye for design.
• Demonstrated ability to use Photoshop and other Adobe Creative products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A genuine interest in web design and development.
• A detail-oriented approach when completing website revisions and requests.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines, even with frequent interruptions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to coordinate project activities with diverse groups and individuals.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Experience with WordPress.
• Possession of a Design portfolio.
