Flint Firebirds

The Flint Firebirds are a member of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), which, alongside the Western Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, forms the Canadian Hockey League (CHL)—the world’s premiere player development league responsible for nearly 70% of active NHL contracted players. The team plays at the newly renovated Dort Financial Event Center in Flint, Michigan. Built in 1969 and previously known as The IMA and Perani Arena, the venue seats 3,900 for hockey and 5,000 for concerts.
