Job Description:
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students to join their Fort Mill, South Carolina (SC) office for an internship. This is not a remote position. As an intern, you will:
• Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS, depending on the specific discipline.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in one of the following majors:
• Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
• Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
• Engineering Technology
