Job Description:

PCA is offering Co-op Electrical Engineer positions for students starting their rotations in Spring and Fall of 2026. There are a total of 4 positions available, requiring participation in your university’s co-op program, involving 3 rotating terms.

Available Positions:

• 1 Reliability Electrical Engineering Co-op starting in Spring 2026
• 2 Reliability Electrical Engineering Co-op starting in Fall 2026
• 1 Project Electrical Engineering Co-op starting in Spring 2026

Responsibilities:

Co-op Reliability Engineer Responsibilities Include:
• Work with Area Reliability Engineers on daily troubleshooting issues.
• Second and Third Term students will be assigned additional job duties to further their development.
• Assist Reliability Engineers on special project assignments.
• Focus on predictive and preventive maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability (e.g., lubrication, optical alignment, vibration analysis).
• Exposure to best practice maintenance and assist in root cause failure analysis process to resolve equipment failures.

Co-op Project Engineer Responsibilities Include:
• Work with the Project Engineering group on capital projects.
• Assist engineers on special projects.
• Utilize computer software for P&ID drawing and assist in maintaining equipment files.
• Work with other lab personnel, operators, and supervisors.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled at Mississippi State University, The University of Mississippi, Auburn University, University of Alabama University of Cincinnati, University of Maine, University of North Carolina State, Texas A&M University, University of Miami Ohio, Tennessee Technology University, or any University of TN.
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Completed the freshman year.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident.

Preferred:

• Students that sign up for interviews through University during the Career Fairs and On-Campus Interview days will be given first consideration.
