Job Title: Endodontist Dental Assistant
Job Type: This is a Part-Time position, though the company notes that Full-time and flexible scheduling options are available depending on the independently owned and operated Aspen Dental locations.
Salary: The compensation for this role is $25 – $28 per hour.
Location: The position primarily serves offices in New Jersey, specifically in the areas of Woodbridge, Linden, Flemington, Hazlet, Bridgewater, and Ocean.

How You’ll Make a Difference / Key Responsibilities: As an Endodontist Dental Assistant, your primary role is to support the clinical needs of the practice’s patients and doctors. You will specifically assist the Specialist chair-side during various treatment procedures. The role provides an opportunity to contribute positively to patients’ lives and communities. Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care. This is a mandatory aspect of the role, requiring daily travel to assigned offices.
• Taking dental X-rays.
• Setting up and breaking down the operatory post-treatment.
• Managing infection control, which involves preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Performing various office tasks as necessary.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications: To be considered for this Endodontist Dental Assistant role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Possess an active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build rapport with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibit a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a valid non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance, or have the ability to be insured under the employer’s fleet insurance program (if a Company fleet vehicle is assigned). This is crucial due to the daily travel requirement to different offices. The Company reserves the right to request and review your Motor Vehicle Record at any time, in accordance with state requirements.
