The university operates its main Columbus campus, located in Ohio’s capital city, a rapidly growing and diverse metropolitan area with over 1.5 million people. This area offers affordable housing, cultural and recreational opportunities, excellent schools, and a strong economy. In addition to Columbus, Ohio State has four regional campuses: Ohio State Lima, Ohio State Mansfield, Ohio State Marion, and Ohio State Newark, along with the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Wooster Campus.

The Ohio State University believes in diversity in people and ideas and is committed to providing a safe environment free of violence, harassment, discrimination, exploitation, or intimidation. Failure to disclose such information may result in the offer being rescinded or employment terminated. Final candidates are subject to a background check, and a drug screen or physical may be required post-offer. The university is an equal opportunity employer, including veterans and disability.

Specifically, the Newark campus, where this position is based, offered its first classes in 1957 with a mission to provide affordable, open access to Ohio State for all Ohioans. The 188-acre campus is shared with Central Ohio Technical College, fostering a strong partnership involving shared buildings, general-purpose classrooms, approximately 100 staff, operating expenses, and capital equipment investments across various departments (e.g., Advancement, Business and Finance, DEI, Facilities, Library, Marketing, Purchasing, Student Financial Services, Student Life). Ohio State Newark currently enrolls over 2,200 students who are taught and mentored by 45 tenure-track faculty. Students can complete eight bachelor’s degree programs at the Newark Campus or begin any of Ohio State’s 200+ majors. The campus also offers opportunities for students to participate in an Honors program, service learning, education abroad, and a wide variety of student clubs and organizations.
