About The HJGT
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 to provide junior golfers (ages 8-18) the opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour aims to provide superb hospitality and make every event memorable. Open to both males and females, the HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the world, hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. In 2017, HJGT partnered with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company, to grow the game of golf and broaden the Tour’s reach.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members, Interns will learn how to operate golf tournaments. This involves active participation in all aspects of tournament operations, from course setup to breakdown. The internship offers hands-on training and requires extensive travel every weekend across the country to states including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, California, Arizona, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
When not traveling, interns will receive Business Operations training from the Senior Leadership team. There are five operations teams, two with full-time housing in GA, and three travel teams living in hotels during the program, spending one full week in each city.
