Job Description:
Helsell Fetterman is offering the Richard S. White Fellowship, a program designed to support diverse law students and foster their careers. The Fellowship includes:
• 12-week Summer Associate Position: A paid summer clerkship at Helsell Fetterman (at least $2,000 per week).
• $7,500 Academic Scholarship: A scholarship remitted directly to the student’s law school to assist with tuition for the school year following the summer clerkship.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants for the 2026 Richard S. White Fellowship must meet the following criteria:
• Be in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school.
• Anticipate graduating with a J.D. or LL.M. by May/June 2027.
• J.D. students must have completed their 1L year, and LL.M. students must have completed their 2L year by May/June 2026.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership skills, and commitment to personal and professional development, indicating potential for a successful legal career.
• Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity within the community and the legal profession.
• Express interest in the practice areas offered at Helsell Fetterman and a desire to build a legal practice in the Seattle area.
