Job Description:
This is a 10-week summer internship program (June-August 2026) with Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking division, designed to provide undergraduate students with an understanding of commercial banking and potential career paths through hands-on experience. Interns will work with an experienced team within one of the Commercial Banking businesses.
Key aspects of the internship include:

In this role, you will:
• Participate in formal internship program activities, workshops, and initiatives.
• Complete assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs and identify optimal Wells Fargo products and services.
• Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters to support business efforts.
• Receive direction from a manager while developing knowledge of compliance and risk management requirements.
• Prioritize work, pay attention to detail, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure.

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Knowledge, interest, and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales.

Pay: Specific hourly rates vary by location (Chicago: $39.90/hr). The advertisement lists an overall pay range of $18.00 – $65.00.
