Enterprise Cyber Security Internship
MVP Health Care is seeking an Enterprise Cyber Security Intern to join their team.
Location: Headquarters Office, 625 State Street, Schenectady, New York, United States of America (Hybrid – Schenectady, NY)
Responsibilities:
• Record and track IT security incidents, including data incidents, compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and abuse reports.
• Assist with forensics analysis and fact gathering.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist with applications/tools including SIEM, IPS, ticketing system, Azure Defender & 365, and DLP tools.
• Research and evaluate applications and services, providing feature matrices.
• Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide first-level compliance monitoring and investigations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be a full-time undergraduate/graduate student in good academic standing. Preference given to students enrolled with a concentration in Cybersecurity.
• Preference given to students with working knowledge of Networking, Software Programming, Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and web design.
• Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all institutional policies.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
Pay Rate
• Min Hiring Rate $18.00
• Max Hiring Rate $22.00
