Job Description:
This is an externship opportunity with New Richmond Veterinary Clinic through Heartland Veterinary Partners’ Externship Program. The program is designed to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to ensure they are ‘practice ready’ upon graduation.
Key details:
• Purpose: Gain practical experience and mentorship in a veterinary clinic setting.
• Duration: Typically 2 weeks, but the length is flexible. We can also support your preceptorship documentation.
• Location: New Richmond Veterinary Clinic, 1656 Dorset Lane Suite 300, New Richmond, WI.
• Support: Heartland Veterinary Partners will cover the cost of lodging, if needed.
• Focus: Preparing veterinary students for their first day in practice through practical skills and mentorship.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
