Job Description: Cybersecurity Skillbridge Intern
This internship is exclusively for active Department of Defense (DoD) Servicemembers participating in the SkillBridge program. It offers transitioning active-duty service members the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial cybersecurity operations during their last 180 days of service (5-6 month program).
Key Aspects:
• Program Focus: Hands-on experience in live commercial cybersecurity operations.
• Eligibility: Active DoD Servicemembers approved for SkillBridge participation.
• Duration: 5-6 months during the last 180 days of active duty.
• Locations: Eden Prairie, MN; Pleasant Grove, UT; San Antonio, TX.
• Potential Teams/Focus Areas:
• Concierge Security
• Security Operations
• Incident Response
• Cyber Security Training
• Cyber Threat Intelligence
• Technical Lead
• Responsibilities: Shadow and train with S2 Engineers/Analysts within the assigned program.
• Training: Comprehensive training plan provided before the internship begins.
• Work Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Training/Experience in a cyber-related DoD career-field
• SkillBridge Approval: Must be approved for SkillBridge participation for 3-6 months.
• Availability: Able to dedicate up to 40 hours a week to training/mentoring.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Mindset: A learning mindset.
• Teamwork: Ability to work and mentor with a technical team.
• Cyber Security Processes: Have the ability to define effective cyber security processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be an Active Duty servicemember and approved for Skillbridge
• Must have solid understanding of cyber security; Cyber security training and/or career-field experience is strongly preferred
Security Requirements:
• Adherence to Arctic Wolf’s Information Security policies.
• Background check required.
• May require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws.
