Job Description: WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a motivated ME/EE Engineering Intern to join their Motors department in Duluth, GA. This internship provides experience with low voltage electric motors and real-world applications, focusing on both technical and customer-focused aspects of engineering. The intern will work with experienced engineers, contributing to projects while developing their skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create technical documentation (datasheets, drawings) with available engineering software.
• Assist LV Motors team members.
• Support the application engineering team for the quotation process.
• Support virtual benchmarking activities.
Knowledge / Training:
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (mainly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Introductory knowledge of product development.
• Familiarity with fundamental electrical and mechanical concepts and terminology.
• Willing to learn about low voltage electric motors.
Education:
• High School/GED; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Majors.
