Job Description:
This is a seasonal position for individuals to operate summer activities at Steamboat Ski Resort, including a mechanical bull, bounce house, and gem mining.
Responsibilities:
• Operate the summer activities
• Inspect and set up all equipment and structures before opening.
• Manage ticketing and lines, including scanning tickets and controlling line flow.
• Communicate safety briefings to guests.
• Answer guest questions.
• Properly close and store all equipment.
• Maintain a clean area around the activities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attend team meetings as required.
• Assist with summer lift operations if required (Must be a minimum of 18 years of age)
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• 2 years of previous work history/education required.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform moderate to strenuous physical activity.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Basic computer skills for handheld ticket scanning devices.
