Job Title: Fire Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Intern
Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of a Paramedic Mentor and/or Fire Captain, the Fire EMS Intern is responsible for the following:
• Responding to a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations, including:
• 9-1-1 medical emergencies
• Hazardous material incidents
• Rescue operations
• Fire incidents
• Other emergency and non-emergency situations
Important Information:
• Minimum Wage: The minimum wage is $16.00 per hour, effective January 1, 2024.
• Hour Limit: Fire EMS Interns may not exceed 528 hours during a calendar year.
• Continuous Recruitment: This is a continuous recruitment process. Interviews may be scheduled at any time.
