About the Company and Job Description

The intern will be joining the Celldex HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) team. This team is responsible for managing the value evidence generation strategy and planning, as well as the communication and translation of both internal and external research to a variety of stakeholders, both within Celldex and externally.

Job Description:

Through this internship, the intern will gain insights into how research strategies evolve within the industry. They will learn how HEOR data and Real-World Evidence (RWE) are actionable for different stakeholders and will contribute to the collaborative process of establishing the value context for new products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a Landscape Literature Review: The intern will conduct a literature review focusing on one or more indications of interest for Celldex’s investigational compounds. This includes identifying unmet needs, understanding the epidemiology and natural history of the disease, assessing the burden of illness, and identifying comparator treatments. This research will be used to support the development of a value framework.
Leverage Published Literature: Use clinical and scientific databases such as PubMed, clinicaltrials.gov, and Google Scholar to find relevant published research.
Organize References: Maintain an internal online library resource to store and organize the collected references.
Mentorship: Receive mentoring and guidance from the Head of HEOR.
Presentation of Findings: Prepare a written summary of the research findings and present them to a cross-functional audience at Celldex.
Team Meetings: Participate in HEOR, Market Access, and Medical Affairs cross-functional team meetings.
Learning HEOR and Market Access Fundamentals: Learn the fundamentals of HEOR and market access, including the value framework approach used to support new product indications.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Pharmacy and Healthcare Administration, or Biostatistics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior industry experience is preferred but not required.
• A strong passion for the biopharmaceutical industry and a desire to make a significant impact.

Compensation:

The hourly range for this internship is $18.00 per hour.
