Software & AI Student Intern (Remote) — Summer/Fall 2025 Job Description
As a Software & AI Student Intern, you’ll support the development of a real-world web app and explore how AI can be responsibly integrated into user experiences. You’ll gain hands-on experience in areas like:
• Web application development
• AI integration and automation
• Front-end and back-end software architecture
• Database management
• Testing and debugging processes
• Collaborating in a startup environment
This is an ideal role for aspiring engineers, coders, and AI-curious creators eager to build their portfolios and explore technology that supports human dignity.
What You’ll Do:
• Contribute to codebases using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
• Assist in developing features for a personal record web app
• Test and validate AI models in real use-case flows
• Participate in stand-up meetings, share progress, and brainstorm features
• Learn agile development practices and collaborate in GitHub and VS Code environments
• Learn business development and market strategy
Qualifications:
• ✅ Familiarity with software development and design principles
• ✅ Some experience with web or app development (school projects welcome)
• ✅ Interest in AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or others
• ✅ Basic understanding of databases (SQL, Firebase, or similar)
• ✅ Willingness to learn, ask questions, and solve problems
• ✅ Able to work independently and collaborate virtually
• ✅ Currently enrolled in high school, college, or a coding bootcamp
• 🔸 High school applicants must have signed parental consent
Internship Type: Part-Time, Unpaid (eligible for school credit or volunteer hours)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
