Job Description: Summer Marketing & Business Development Intern
This full-time, paid internship (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday) runs from May 19th to August (with a flexible end date to accommodate school schedules). The position provides a comprehensive experience encompassing various aspects of marketing, event planning, data analysis, and business development.
Responsibilities include:
• Market Research & Analysis: Researching and identifying potential new customers, markets, and industry trends.
• Data Management: Organizing lead and customer data using Microsoft Excel.
• Event Planning & Management: Assisting in the planning and execution of customer appreciation events (sporting events, dinners, golf outings), and acting as the Event Manager for their largest golf event in September (coordinating vendors, logistics, and follow-ups).
• Industry Representation: Attending industry expos and events, working booths, and promoting the Al Warren Oil brand.
• Content Creation & Social Media: Creating engaging content and writing posts to boost social media traffic.
• Internal Communications: Updating internal communication boards and sending employee newsletters.
• Customer Relations: Communicating with customers to confirm event participation and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Business.
• Junior or senior status in Fall 2025.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Organized, creative, and confident in writing and public speaking.
• Ability to thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments.
• Reliable transportation to attend local events and meetings.
